HeadStart Action is a focused personal and social development programme targeted at young people aged 14-18. Through social action, the programme supports young people to gain employability skills, aid their personal development and gain work experience.
The programme will support young people to remain in education and work towards a career path that they want to pursue through the development of employability skills.
Active Talent is an innovative new response project to building a bigger, better, and broader community, to empowering young people and create, also, leaders and a sport workforce in London funded Mayor of London’s Sport Unites investment programme, and overseen by London Sport, Active Talent is designed against the Young Leaders strand with aim:
- To identify and engage at-risk young Londoners with leadership potential in the community sport workforce.
2. Working with these individuals to improve their understanding of and ability to use sport as a tool for social integration, as well as to benefit Londoners’ physical and mental health through sport and physical activity interventions.
3. Enabling and supporting these individuals to go on and be active within their communities as part of London’s community sport workforce
Keeping it Wild supports young people on a journey that will benefit communities and wildlife across London through taking practical action. Young people with work with London Wildlife Trust to explore conservation in an engaging way, Headliners to capture their experience through media training and the John Muir Trust through their award.
A social action programme run by to develop young leaders across London. It aims to support young people to develop project engagement skills, learn more about team work as well as develop presentation skills. Through City Leaders young people will improve their youth club and also have a positive impact on their communities.
